Meet Jiayi, my close friend and our resident painter 🌸

She grew up in a family deeply rooted in Yixing pottery, but early on she realized her heart belonged to the paintbrush rather than shaping clay. To me, she is hands down the most gifted painter when it comes to clay painting —her brushwork is delicate, expressive, and full of life.

Thanks to her hand, quiet clay forms transform into storytelling pieces. If you've been dreaming of a custom clay-painted teapot or cup—whether with a special motif, calligraphy, or pattern—just send me a message, and I'll gladly connect you with her for a bespoke piece!
